Depending on what equipment you have for a hot water heater, the technician will complete the following during your annual service:

• Inspect hot water heater

• Clean burners, pilot assembly and orifice

• Check thermocouple

• Check blower and motor

• Check manifold pressure

• Change strainer and nozzle

• Brush down unit

• Test pump pressure

• Cycle and test system

It is recommended to annually descale wall hung hot water heaters. Tankless water heaters, like all water-heating appliances, can accumulate mineral deposits (like limescale) over time, reducing efficiency and potentially damaging the unit.
